Comelit hardware reference guide

Comelit has an amazing range of products and below are the few standard items that Blitz Security installs.

Indoor Monitors:

1. Unlock door
2. Mute / Privacy / Do Not Disturb Button
3. Answer Call / Talk
4. Function / navigation buttons

UNLOCK

Pressing the key while in a call or viewing the door station camera will unlock the door associated to that door station ie. if you're talking / viewing the front lobby door station camera then pressing the key will unlock the front lobby door.

NOTE: To allow access up the lift the door station MUST call the unit first, the lift is only activated in a call scenario.

MUTE / PRIVACY / DO NOT DISTURB

If you don't want to be disturbed then pressing this will silence any incoming calls. The icon will show red when activated.

ANSWER CALL / TALK

To answer a call or start talking to a door station press the Answer Call / Talk button. Press again to hang up a call.

FUNCTION / NAVIGATION BUTTONS

Programmable Keys:

PRESS AND RELEASE (with display off):

> carry out the programmed function

PRESS AND HOLD (5s):

> default key 4 to enable/disable the “Door opening upon call” function (Doctor),

> default key 2 to enable/disable the programmed self activation function

NOTE: These are generally not programmed unless specified by the builder or in the design.

Menu:

PRESS AND RELEASE:

> with the display off: switch on the display

> from the homepage: switch off the display

> during menu navigation: return to previous screen

FLASHING LED:

> user notification present

PRESS AND RELEASE with monitor on: shortcut to the video messages section

Navigation:

PRESS AND RELEASE during menu navigation: up, down, right and left
